Michiru Maki
In 60s, Michiru made a big hit of "Wakai-tte
Subarashi (It's wonderful to be young)"and she became an idle
singer. But she didn't like an entertainment life and retired from
show bussiness in 1970.
After retirement, she chose the road of a
studio musicain. She sang thousands of commercial songs and perticipated
on many famous singers' recordings as back chorus member. |
When a Piano Bar INDIGO was oppened
in 90s at Nishi-Azabu, a Jazz singer Fumiko Suzuki sang in her live
every month. Michiru and Fumiko planed to give surprise to the OZ
SONS at Christmas Party.
They brought secretly an expert studio musician,
Kayo ISHU and pretty Kayoko WADA only for this Party. |

We were really surprised by their chorus never heared
before. And the chorus arrangement was so nice but difficult. They
sang "Nevertheless" and "Shinny Stockings".
They sang saying "This is only one time
performence".
We proposed them to perform other chances
and they performed at Michiru's Concert and Fumiko's Concert.
Michiru would like to show the good example
of Jazz chorus for us. |
