Guys who love Jazz chorus and aged as vintage wine get together to sing standard Jazz songs for their hobby life. Their average age became 70 in 2015. The first and tha last their own big concert was held in June 2013, and in the same year, they acomplished their role in the concert "Keep Shining 6" at Suntory Hall. This time they reduced their activity and it’s scale. Three guys remain, and one is gift for the Tokyo Barbers (Barbershop Chorus). They had so many big stages during these 20 years, but they have been keeping to sing in their stance of amature chorus. The name of "The OZ Sons" became widely known. They used to rehears at a piano bar INDIGO at Nishi-Azabu in 90s, regular customers called them "usual Ojisan-chorus". When they appeared at the concert of Three Graces in 1999, they named "The OZ Sons" for their group name. |
